Twin Cities Dumpling Feast ™

This is an annual trademark indoor Chinese New Year Celebration event conceived by ASANE. The first annual event took place in February 2022 at “Legendary Spice Hotpot” Chinese Restaurant in Minneapolis and co-organized by Minnesota China Friendship Garden Society.

During 2023-2025, the Twin Cities Dumpling Feast™ has been co-organized by Minnesota China Friendship Garden Society and Legacy Adult Daycare Center and has taken place at Legacy Adult Daycare Center in Golden Valley.

This annual event has become quite successful. Local legislators, VIP guests from a variety of fields in the Twin Cities areas, as well as the leaders and friends from the local Chinese, Hmong, Vietnamese and other communities have attended the event. Each year, the guests have a fabulous time learning how to wrap Chinese dumplings, tasting dumplings, potstickers and other gourmet food, guessing Chinese riddles and listening to Chinese music, watching charming Chinese calligraphy and papercuts and Chinese artistic performances such as Chinese lion dance and musical pieces brought by the local musicians and performers.

The goal for this annual event always remains the same: Presenting the Chinese New Year cuisine, food culture and holiday culture to the general public, promoting cross cultural appreciation and understanding and encouraging cultural exchanges, and further strengthening friendship and communication in all areas, and engaging local communities in a festival manner.
